We spent a long time searching for the right wedding photographer and went through quite a process, but Alexis’s style stood out more than anything else we saw. From the very beginning, we loved that her work is this perfect balance of whimsy, romance, and documentary storytelling. She has such a gift for capturing the small in between moments that could easily be missed, while also giving us the colorful, artistic portraits we had hoped for. Looking through our photos now, we see not only the big milestones but also every guest, every laugh, and all of the emotions of the day. It feels like she bottled up the spirit of our wedding so that we can relive it forever. Beyond the beauty of her work, Alexis made the whole process so easy. She is incredibly kind, approachable, and down to earth, and she brought such a calm and steady energy to our day. She let me set the schedule and followed along without ever making things feel rushed or overwhelming. Our guests felt comfortable around her, and she blended seamlessly into the celebration while still managing to capture everything. We never once felt like we were being pulled away from the joy of the moment, and yet we now have this treasure trove of photos that tell the story from every angle. She got nice pictures back to us very quickly with the sneak peeks. Alexis was without a doubt, one of the best things about my wedding. She somehow is everywhere all at once, capturing moments you weren't even aware of- all while she remains calm, collected, and composed. We were lucky enough to have her shoot our rehearsal dinner and wedding day. I am so thankful we chose to have Alexis as our photographer for our wedding. She made everything simple and easy from the first day! Included in our total cost was an engagement session, which was so fun and our photos turned out BEAUTIFUL. Alexis makes you feel comfortable, confident and relaxed. Very quickly, we had the whole gallery. She put in so much work preparing and making sure we got all the shots we wanted. She also incorporated her own style and creativity, which I loved. Alexis was great to work with! She made us feel really comfortable despite neither of us having experience with professional photography. It was nice that she helped with posing without anything seeming forced. The timing she suggested was perfect for golden hour and the shots turned out great despite us being quite cold! I loved how she focused on more editorial shots while also offering traditional poses looking into the camera. She climbed up a dune with us to get additional shots which definitely enhanced the experience. We would highly recommend her!
